When conducting research just before the pandemic hit, I was pleased to come across this menu from one of the country's most famous restaurants. It is extremely rare to find a restaurant in the U.S. that's been open for 100 years, but this 1940 menu from Antoine's in New Orleans celebrates their centennial. Antoine's has a long history and is credited with creating a number of famous dishes. I've never had the pleasure of eating there, but if you find yourself in New Orleans, check it out and compare this 80-year old menu to their current offerings.
