As a former resident of Seattle, I enjoy glimpses into the city's past. In early October 1952 General Eisenhower visited Seattle. This menu dates from that month and comes from the personal scrapbook of Mamie Eisenhower's social secretary, Mary Jane McCaffree.
A beautiful historic hotel in the heart of downtown Seattle, the Olympic Hotel is still in business, now as the Fairmont Olympic.
